Unless I'm within 2 feet, I honestly don't think the pro-3 horn sounds
any better than the cx-3 sim. Morever, when the pro-3 sends the low
frequency tones to a pair of EON 15s, the rotor sim was to me clealy
inferior to the CX3 rotor sim. In other words, the cx3 (v2.0) sim,
through a pair of EON 15s in stereo, is to me honestly better than a
pro3 into 2 EON 15s. The CX3's amp sim is a different story, but I
definately like the CX3's rotating horn and bass rotor simulation
better than the pro3 setup if I am more then 2 feet away. Others may
and will have different opinions, but my point here is that your not
alone. I would think that with the Speakeasy, you amp sim is vastly
improved over the dry CX3, however. If not, call Steve and tweak your
settings.
