Hi

I did mine with the old upgrade installer that was quickly pulled off
of the market. I used an Athlon with XP and a Midiman 1 x 1. I had
no problems, but did cross my fingers. Make sure the Midiman is
installed and working. Dicsconnect your internet hook-up, shut down
all screen savers and anti-virus, and anything else working in the
background. Make sure your Windows power settings - monitor power off
and hibernate type of stuff, are disabled as you will go maybe 20
minutes not touching your computer. Make sure you have a reliable
power supply. It should go without a hitch. One guy who had problems
was in Europe, where the power grid might not be as dependable as in
the U.S. (Yikes!). A very nice upgrade, except for the chorus/vibrato.
