Thanks Norm. I know the KB3 mode has been eliminated from the PC1x (but not an issue for me). I've heard the Classic Keys is killer. I really like the pianos in my Motif rack (even better than in my Motif8) so it'll be hard to convince me these are better, but I'm keeping an open mind. Who knows, the new rig could be slimmed down to an XK3 with PC1x on top. I had a REALLY great sound guy last nite who made my in ears just a joy to listen to. Normally, I use them for when I'm singing, and when my part's over, the one bud I put in my ear comes out, but this guy had it sounding so good, I put BOTH buds in and left them. Made me rethink my amp rig too....if the Pro145 is as good as has been claimed, I may just switch to that, leave one combo amp at home, and just use on stage as a monitor for the rest of the guys, and then replace my Roland M120 line mixer with a larger mixer with faders and then run my keyboard mix stereo to my in ears along with the "all purpose" send I get from
the house. It'll be a whole new approach. I'm kind of excited.

Great board but am looking to the Classic Keys update for better organ, ep's, etc. It sounds great in stereo and recommend this but in the global settings menu has mono or stereo output options. Pianos can't be beat. KB3 mode (organ) needs improvement!. I have retired mine for gigging but is my favorite home board. Good luck!

Hey there...I just bought a Kurzweil PC1x sightunseen/unheard to check out. (More flights ahead.) Does anyone on the group own a PC1x? If not, how happy are you PC2x owners with your keyboard? Anything I should know or look out for?
