I also recommend the FC-7. Just picked one up last weekend and it is
infinitely better than the Roland EV-5 for organ swell. On someone's
suggestions on here or the Electro forum I bought a 1/4" stereo
extension cord and rewired the tip and ring on that so that I didn't
have to hack up the cord on the FC-7.

For wah-wah on the clav (or whatever), though, I'm still trying to
decide if I like the EV-5 better. It seems the extra range of movement
on the FC-7 might get a big tiring on the ankle/calf if you're doing
lots of wah and constantly modulating from fully open to fully closed.
But for more subtle wah playing, I'd still much prefer the FC-7.
