I'll check that out. I was talking about my rack pre; when I use my pedal pre, all knobs are wide open.

it never really added anything that warranted me carrying it. I run
my Speakeasy at about 11:00 and using the Blue Tube would get me
more grind, but not in that *step on the gas* sweet way a real
Hammond does. I could make it plenty dirty, or run the drive
totally shut down and just use it as a clean boost, but I could get
that sound just by running my Speakeasy a lot hotter. So no gain
there.
You gotta run the Speakeasy a lot hotter. I have mine at about 3
o'clock and run the blue tube in front. You'll get that grind that
way. This lets my run the leslie volume lower and still get a great
sound.
