Not only is weight an issue, but interior geography. I rent my Numerous Complaints chopper out to a guy who picks it up in his mini van, and while that fits fine laying flat, he would have to stand it upright to fit a leslie in there, and because its a mini van and not a cargo van, there's nowhere for him to attach tiedowns to keep the organ in place. With an uncut console, this isn't an issue, but no way will you get a leslie in there.
