Hey Tony, thanks again, i feel more confident in using the apex with
my rig by reading your advice. You just saved me about 200 dollars in

if not a littl heavier than what you're using. The Bx3....the A90
(same weight as XV88...a great synth by the way, I sometimes regret
selling mine)...and the JD800 (actually larger than the N3-64, about
the size of an Alesis Andromeda) which was so large that I set up a
regular clamp and tribar rig at the very top of the Apex, so that the
lid acted as part of the base. And with a little velcro on the apex
lid and the underside of the JD, the rig was secure and safe.
