I e-mailed Dave Amels (V5's designer) with this same question about a month ago who was kind enough to reply. Here is his response:

"No announcement has been made yet about upgrades but it is possible. Please
check back periodically for an announcement."

I also called the distributor, DR Strings, with this question. (They are notoriously bad about responding to e-mails). Their representative informed me that, while the V5+ is being promoted on their website, he has not even seen one and none were available yet for shipping. He also said there currently is no plan to offer the upgrade.

Maybe if we get enough V5 owners to rally around and make some noise, they will consider offering the upgrade.

Hi, My name is Jeff and Im a V5 owner. I have recently noticed that
Voce is coming out with a V5+. It supposedly has a better
Chorus/Vibrato, and better percussion setting. I have tried to email
support over at Dr Strings twice about whether or not there will be
an upgrade available to existing v5 users. And have not received any
response. Does any one out there know anything about this?.And has
anyone had support problems with Voce?Any help would be appreciated.
