Subject:RE: Organ Upgrades for Yamaha S30, and other questions
I have an S80 and the S30 is a smaller version, less inputs/outputs/controls
but same ROM, sounds, etc.
I had an S30 for a while, the only thing I didn't like was how light the
keyboard felt - dynamics were very tough. How much did you pay for it?
Splits and layers are done in a "performance" - very complex to setup, but
extremely versatile.
For a quick "global" transpose, hit the "utility" key and you should be at
the transpose window. If not, use the page knob to find it. You can go
up/down an octave or more in half steps and tune in hundredths of a cent.
