The answer is yes, classic.

Your chop probably had a tube preamp, which warmed it up before going to the
leslie. Your BX3 does not have that warmth, so adding the speakeasy is going
to help a lot.

The Barker is for folks w/low output. I don't know if you need it w/the BX3,
Bruce Wahler can answer that since he makes the Barker and owns a BX3.

The howler is probably "too much" for a leslie. That's what I've heard folks
say. I've got a howler, I love it, put it through non-leslie gear. I think
the idea is that the howler going into a tube power amp is just a bit much.
