Subject:Advice on Speakeasy Preamps - new to list

Hi everyone... I'm brand new to the list and I'm switching from the
Hamtech group to the Clonewheel group coincidental with lower back
problems and the sale of my B3 chop and purchase of a Korg BX3 (I'm
sure there are others like me on the list!!). I am really happy with
the Korg, and I'm currently running it through a Leslie combo preamp
and hopped up 147.

I'm considering purchasing one of the Speakeasy preamps to replace
the leslie combo preamp, because I've been told that it will warm up
the sound a lot, and I'm looking for feedback from the list on two
questions:

1. Is the difference in sound between a leslie combo pedal and the
Speakeasy pedal enough to warrant the price of the Speakeasy model?
2. Which model would be more appropriate and why? (I believe there
are 3 models (classic/howler/barker)... I play classic rock, R+B,
blues..

I would appreciate whatever feedback I can get.. Thanks
Craig
