Subject:Re: M-Audio Keystation Pro 88

I can appreciate your bitch if you're looking for a clone controller.
For me, however, this looks like a very attractive board largely
because of the hammer-weighted keys. I would like it to control
Lounge Lizard, and possibly The Grand. I'm spoiled by having a
perfectly mapped CX3 to control my EVB3, so I would like the
Keystation Pro 88 for everything but organ. I think Synth keys would
ruin it for me. Its kinda bulky, however, to carry around. What are
the chances they might make a 76-note, or even 61-note with octave
shifts, yet retain hammer-weighted keys? Because of the needs of
those such as yourself, maybe they might eventually come out in two
versions, hammer-weighted for piano needs such as mine, and another
for all-around use such as your requirements. Again, I'm too
spoiled by it now to go back, but the CX3 is an expensive controller.
A few months ago, before I got it so perfectly mapped, I would have
been in the hunt for a non-weighted version.

Doug
