Subject:Hammon A100 and "G-G" Terminal
Does the Hammond A-100 series (101, 105, 122, ect..) have "G-G"
terminals for connecting to a Leslie? My reason for asking is that I
have heard that a Leslie 122 is designed for the Hammond B3 because of
these terminals giving a low impedance-type of connection whereas the
147 was designed for non-Hammond organs and the connection was a high
impedance-type connection. This means the connection of a B3 to a 122 is
quieter. Since the A-100 is the same "guts" as the B3, does it have the
"G-G" terminals or were these originally for the PR40. In other words,
does it matter what type of Leslie you connect to an A-100 series. I
plan to get one for home and would like the connection to be fairly
quiet.
