The X-77 was probably one of the last "New Design" attempting to use solid state with the tone wheel. I believe there were some "T" series that may have followed the X-77. The B-3 was made until 1976 I believe. Don't hold my feet to the fire on that one. The X-77 never became very popular because of it's tendency for static and lighting crashes. Also it had to have it's own dedicated Leslie and weight was also a concern. Still if properly taken care of it can be a great instrument. Norm
