Subject:RE: xk-3
I have performed with the CX3 for about two years now and still love
that keyboard. I would rate the XK-3 comparable if they fix the chorus
and Leslie sim. It has a couple of cool features like the black preset
keys on the left and the integrated tube preamp, but I will not sell my
Speakeasy yet. I heard no improvement in sound with the tube gain
control. I hope its just not a gimmick.
Also, due to the preset keys, the XK3 is longer than a CX3, which may be
a deal breaker too. I prefer the location of the two sets of drawbars on
the CX3. The XK3 centered drawbars seem unnatural. And remember, the XK3
has a separate pedal section, unlike the CX-3. So if you play pedals....
