I certainly think its valid and necessary for new members to be able
to ask redundant questions when they first get here (like FC7

this info when they first join up.
I was thinking about this last night when I read the prior post.
Maybe we should work on a FAQ for the listgroup that could live on
the FILES section, and put a note on the web-based home page referring
first timers to that list. Many groups do just that. I also don't
mind seeing duplicate questions, but there are some everpresent
questions that are indeed "Frequently Asked Questions"
We could work on it interactively - perhaps cull the archives for the
best explanations of Exp Pedal wiring, Speakeasy, clone comparisons,
amplification, etc. or have members contribute a topic (ala wiki) of
their choosing.

getting the posts.
Me, too. I subscribe to digest, just so I can catch up if I forget to
log on for a while, but my main interaction is via the web interface
a few times a day. Yes, I am that bored at work. So it does serve as a
social/community thing, almost like a chat. Some other brand
listserver/groups create a "table of Contents" at the top of their
digest emails to allow you to navigate the digests easier, but yahoo
does not.
I will be creating a Justin Timberlake/Nipple group if any of you
want to join up :-) (Actually, the rhodes group took over this
thread!)
