To be honest, I'm amazed at how many guys use groups over email. I find that the best
way to keep my inbox uncluttered is to not get group emails from any of the groups I'm
on. I go the the group"s site, which to me also makes it more like visiting a community. I
wouldn't really want to be on a group if I didn't feel at least some sense of sommunity, and
for my money, having a site to go to is like a destination, which adds to the community
feel. I'm sorry if the recent OT thread pissed some of you off, and I'll agree it did start to
go a little overboard, but that shows how real the community feel here is- that we feel
comfortable enough to banter and have a little fun. If you're really that concerned about
your inbox being crammed with stuff you don't want to read, quit getting the group mail
and come read the posts from the group's home page. You can easily scan subject lines
and just read the ones that interest you. Works great.
