I assume this is directed toward my comment. My point is that there is a vast difference
between a vocalist and a singer. Look at the words. Vocalist- vocalize singer- sing. One
has to do with making sound, the other has to do with making music. A vocalist is what
most "singers" really are- just people who deliver the vocals. Some of them even have
really nice voices, maybe even some chops. Then there are the few, the rare, the real
singers, people whose voices are instruments, musicians whose instrument is the voice.
IMHO none of the nominees were singers. That's not meant to detract from their artistry
and George and Warren I actually respect, but none of them are truly singers.
