Subject:Re: CX-3s HEARD IN RECORDINGS??
I recorded a whole cd with the cx3 thru a 760 about
two years ago and organs did come out quite nice and
sweet. Everybody complimented me on the organ parts
and the sound I had gotten. To speak truth the leslie
had done the trick, since it does something to round
off digital harshness and rebalance uneven frequency
response tends to show. I would say it made some sort
of natural compression.
The record is highly recommendable (got very good
reviews on specialized national press) if you're into
blues/jazz, with lots of rhodes, hammond and pianos
all over, nice and neat production although it's on a
spanish label (BLAU) so it may not be so easy for you
to get it. However, the company that does distribute
it (DISC MEDI) is the spanish distributor for
ALLIGATOR, so it might be still available
internationally, I dunno.
The CD brought to matter is: Victor Uris "DE LADO A
LADO". Chances are that for the next recording I'll be
relaying solely on my electro, wich I had not at that
time yet.
