That's my point... It's the same with Hammond clones... It may sound
close to the original, but its not the same experience.

This is especially true with the clavinet, which has a very distinctive
playing and sound response that cannot be emulated with a clone.
Depending on how hard you hit the keys and play the strings, it will
hum, bark, snap... and sometimes not play at all... I have yet to
see/hear a clone respond like that...

aren't any good clav
sounds out there (EVD6 is F'in AMAZING- unreal) I agree completely that
nothing comes
close to the experience of playing a clav- harder action to reproduce
than a Hammond's if
you ask me, and the way it just makes your fingers feel funky-
