Hmmm...

I own a beautiful Clavinet C and the Electro nails the sound cold. Obviously, there's no way to emulate hammer tips on strings and that feedback you get when it's really cranked just can't be simulated. It truly is a joy to play though. And it's red!

Last night I Saw Stevie Wonder perform at The House of Blues and guess
what? He was playing a Motif 8 and a vintage Clavinet D6... He is the
finest Clav player I have ever heard...

I tried the clav patches on the clones and it is not even close to the
same experience as playing a rea clav...

I never really played the uppermost keys on the 73,
so an octave-switched 61 is perfect for the range I need on Rhodes,
Wurly
and clav patches. Pretty cool! Plus, it is 3 lbs lighter and about 9"
shorter in width. It is a tiny little keyboard packed with so much
sound!

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the Nord Electro rules!
Lessons
learned - NEVER sell gear too quickly! Avoid impulse buys! Stick with
what
you love and be happy! Stay away from music stores!
