Subject:OT/"Live In Philadelphia '79"
To all Wakeman fans - I just bought YES-LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA '79. Due to time
constraints I only viewed the "Starship Trooper" track. There's some good
footage (is this word correct when applied to a DVD?) of RW at the Hammond. Well,
actually not THAT great; there's always a shadow obscuring his hands... no
side-angle views, that would've been ideal. I guess in 1979 film makers thought
the guitar was the only thing... But it IS Wakeman, on Hammond. And of course
the Minimoog stuff is great too. I wish this was available in VHS, as I can
view DVDs on my computer only. Can anyone advise re Rick Wakeman's drawbar
settings, that is, some examples of registrations he often used? Thanks in advance.
To all those who'd care: who is your favorite Yes organist? Best wishes, Adam
