I saw your posting earlier but hadn't replied yet! Progression is 1-2-1-2-1-6-2-5 The bass turn around is 1-6-2-5, The decending part is 1-6-2-5 then in the key of G try G-F-Em7-C#7-C7 .Chords on turnaround RH are hold a high G and 7th and 3rd notes of the chord. Would be easy to show you in person but this may help. Awesome tune! I worked out about half of the solo until it goes way out there! Nice example of slapping upper and lower manuals toward end of solo. Good "break song" for organ combo's! Norm

Subject: [CWSG] Chords for Ashley Blue by Joey D. ??
Hi, Folks.
I posted this on Organ-ized group, but no responses there.
Sorry for the cross-post for members of both groups, but...
Has anyone worked out the chord progression to the Joey DeFrancesco
song Ashley Blue - off the "Organized" B3 tribute CD? It seems like a
simple enough Blues in G, but I'm not getting all the chords implied
by the bass line in the turnaround sections. Also, the chords in the
decending chromatic line where he pulls out all the stops and cranks
the Leslie.
Any help would be appreciated. I have figured out most of the RH
riffs, but I'd like to get the LH bass down a bit, too.
Thanks,
Greg
