All this criticism of it, is this a case of people trying to use a
screwdriver when what's called for is a hammer? I have a KT-80 (the
earlier 80-watt version) and that is one loud little amp. Its hard
for me to believe Motion Sound would put out a product that doesn't
live up to (or exceed) its wattage rating. I assume that the
stereo/3D aspect of the KPS200 entails some tradeoff with absolute
loudness, and that that's the nature of the beast. With any keyboard
amp, at some point, the space size and the body count necessitates
sound reinforcement.

I don't care, we all need that overhead on volume and when this popping noise kicks in it is VERY frustrating! We all know any system will clip if run ridiculously loud but this is different. I run 2 JBL Eon G2 10's now and get no distortion, plenty of volume and much better stereo seperation for the same price. Two little bags to put them in and at 21 lbs. each, no problem. Balanced outputs as well.
