Subject:Re: 2 Tier Stand For XK3
The On-Stage stands are GREAT! I've had just about every 2 tiered
stands , Ultimate support, apex, x braced, etc...and by far the
sturdiest I've used for a good price - less than 100 bucks is that
on-stage stand. I believe I got it from Musicians Friend for 79.95.
Bottom tier hold over 500 lbs and top tier is height & angle
adjustable and support 150lbs (I think). Entire stand adjusts for
standing or sitting plus you can vary the width to fit keys. sets up
in seconds. I use a Roland RD700 on bottom. X brace way to wobbly to
support that kind of weight. I use a K2000 and Voce5 on top. It
NEVER shakes, wobbles, nothing. Very sturdy and folds up. Not
extremely compact unless you disassemble but it folds down quickly
and fairly compactly if you have a SUV, trailer, station wagon
(remember those) etc. Might be tough in a small car but MOST
keyboards aren't going to fit in a small car anyway. Been using one
since June and love it still. Been playing over 30 yrs and I like
this the most for the money. http://flyinblind.com. Can see on my
band web site. Very professional looking stand on stage...On-Stage
...not a salesman...just a keyboard dude.....
