Subject:MORE CX-3/Version 2 Qs

I've played and loved my Version 2 CX3 for 2 years now. Like most other
people, I've got my preferred tweaks. I like to "wander around" re the CX-3's
various settings; just by doing this, I've been happily surprised by some of
what I've come up with, sometimes by accident.
I realized just today that I hadn't really moved the tone knobs too much
since getting the organ... the internal tone controls, including the MID one,
I've often kept at their defaults. But today I moved the TREB up a bit and was
again "happily surprised".
Anyone have any comments on the application of different tonal settings? No,
I'm NOT saying WHAT'S THE ONE SETTING FOR GOSPEL? FOR PROG? FOR SMITH-ESQUE
JAZZ? God, no. But it dawned on me that I really don't have much
knowledge/experience with the tone values. I'm especially curious about MID. Though I've
dabbled with it I don't really know what to do with it, vis the treble and
bass. And... perhaps even more embarrassing...
Though I play this organ every day, and for as much time as possible... I've
never saved ANYTHING. I always spend about a minute or so "setting up"
before playing. I want my DBs/"rotary" preferences et al to BE THERE when I turn
it on! I find the manual lacking in clarity. Or maybe I just can't understand
the d-mn thing! I REALLY want to record my various tweaks. I HAVE tried, only
to have one or two aspects of what I want saved, saved. I know it's my
fault. I usually look at the manual, get tired of it, and just end up playing. But
I'm sure it's easy to put down everything one wants to, in the right place
too. CAN ANYONE HELP? Much, MUCH appreciation in advance! Best - Adam
