Subject:RE: Getting around inept Sound mixers
Steve isn't a bad singer, in fact I think he's one of the best. I've just
been in a situation where the money is good so I put up with a lot of B.S.
We really are a good band. Our guitarist is really great, excellent vocals,
and decent keyboards. We play a lot of Journey stuff everything from Party's
Over, Anyway You Want It, Separate Ways, Who's Cryin' Now, etc. just because
our vocalist sounds so much like Perry. People love the commercial power
rock/ballad stuff Journey is so famous for. I just get a little burnt on it.
It's predominantly guitar based stuff which is typical for what we play but
people dig it. Our band has been together over ten years and it's like we
been married that long and are growing weary of one another. I'm sure
there's a few others out there that can relate. Hell I jump for joy if
someone even notices the keyboard parts I'm playing let alone if they can
hear them. I don't think I'm playing alone here either... Sorry for the rant
maybe we shoud quit feeling sorry for ourselves and buy a real B-3 and play
through a Marshall stack:) Really redeem ourselves...
