Oh yeah - the Yamaha SK - I had one of those a while back. Pretty nice sound. The Leslie effect is actually very good for the time. You're right -single rotor.

Hi all,
I just bought a clone on Ebay for $120.00. Your responses will probably
vary from amusement to disgust, when you hear what it is. It has the
distinction of being the first DIGITAL clone. It has a Leslie sim, but it
sounds like a single rotor model, not unlike the built-in Leslies that Hammond
put in the T-100 spinet organ. It doesn't have drawbars, but sliders.
However, the sliders work like drawbars in that you pull them down to make them
louder (like a drawbar), instead of up, like a mixer. It doesn't have the two
drawbars between the 2' and 1' represented, so I only have 7 to work with. It
doesn't have CV, but it does have vibrato with variable rate and depth, so I
can sort of come close. It has 2nd and 3rd harmonic percussion, with variable
decay. It does not have MIDI. And it has an 11 pin connector to hook up a
real Leslie, and you can disable the sim. The sim controls will control the
real Leslie if it's hooked up. The raw sound of the drawbars isn't half bad,
IMO. It has a single 5 octave keyboard, but it had a big brother with two
manuals. For the price, and the fact it's old, I don't mind taking it on the
road. I have been told it sounds very authentic through a real Leslie.
Any guesses?
