Subject:electro disappointment

Hi All.
I just got home from my first gig with the electro2. It's a gig I normally
do with a V5, and I must say It's a gig I'll continue to do with the V5 ...
for organ sounds anyway. I remember going from a VK7 to the v5 and hearing
an incredibly HUGE improvement in sound presence, clarity, and cut without
any shrillness etc etc. Going to the electro was a step backwards (I was
running it thru a speakeasy too). While it has more realistic trimmings
(leakage, vib/ch) it just doesn't have the presence of the voce. The
electric pianos on the electro are a different story, and I'll continue to
use the board just for these. To my ear, these are outstanding, and with the
2.1 version OS are much more playable using the adjustable velocity
sensitivity. Pity about the acoustic piano sound..

Anyway, the long and short of it is that I'm with Mike W on this one. Voce
is for me.
