Its a great amp. Very lightweight, but astonishingly loud and
clear. I have the old 80-watt version, and haven't bothered to
upgrade it, but its still plenty loud for small club gigs. The tube
preamp is very nice. I also have a speakeasy and I've never bothered
to A-B them, so I won't offer an opinion about that, but if I'm in a
rush I'll go w/o the speakeasy and its acceptable to my ear.

My only complaint about the KT 80: 1) the knobs come off too easily,
2) the XLR output is rather dirty and so forces me to mike the
speaker if I'm going into a PA. This may be just a quirk of my unit.
