Subject:xk-3 meltdown

I haven't seen any posts on xk=3 problems so am I the first? I had
mine about a week when the cv button quit working and cv would only
show up on the presets,but it gets much worse..then when you would
push the non working cv button it would change the menu screen to "les
122 type" and turn on the internal les. and turn on the drawbars which
didn't work till you moved them.It will play but it is possesed! then
thru all this confusion I got a fatal puff of smoke and the
unmistakeable oder we all know to well of burned circuit board.I
immediately called dave at goffprof and my only option was to send it
back to him with a call tag and see if he could fix it because he will
not be receiving any more xk-3's til sept.mine was the first problem
he has had.If he can't fix it he will send it back to HS and hopefully
they will send me a new one and he will send my something to play till
I get mine or a new one,What a mess.they have been great to me over
the years and I know they want this resolved as much as I do,but it
really sucks having a new board for one week go sour.so has anybody
else had any problems? DD
