Subject:Re: switched to the XK3?portable Leslie 21?

Excuse me, but this line in the features section refers to the "Subwoofer"
crossover.

In the manual it states:
"A front panel 1/4" output provides line level audio <100Hz with an 18
Db/octave roll off.
...

This refers to boosting the bass response of this (or any system that uses a
subwoffer), it
has nothing to do with where the frequency response of the Pro-145 actually
rolls off.

Also, refer to page 5 of the manual and in the microphone section is states:

*** "The low rotor response covers about 50hz to 2khz." ***

This infers that the frequency response low rotor enclosure is designed to
get the low end and loses
just a little of the high end. Since the Thiele-Small Parameters (enclosure
design parameters) are
compatible for the Eminence Delta 12LF, replacing the Delta 12 will get you
down to ~ 40Hz.

One of the basic differences in the Leslie design is it used a large volume
design (not ported) whereas
MS Pro-145 uses a ported / small volume design to get the extra response.

As, I said if I get time this weekend I will actually measure the roll off.
I also, have two bass
amps which I might as well measure while I am at it.
