Subject:Nord Electro vs. Hammond XK-3 + Pianomodul (73 Keys ?)

Hi folks,

some members of this group gave me very helpful advices.

So yesterday I went to my dealer and checked out the Electro.

Very good B3-Sounds, lovely Rhodes, Wurly, Clavs, lightweighted and
not so expensive as the XK-3.

But ,cause the Electro is not multitimbral you cannot play organ and
piano at the same time.

So I have to use my pianomodul Yamaha P50m which has a good
Grandpianosound (I play it stacked with my P80) and a goog Wurly
in addition to the organ.

Yesterday I got the first Record - made with the New B3.
(Michael Falkenstein). Astonishing good, but you can tell the (small)
difference to the real thing (IMHO).

Can someone who own or tried out a XK-3 tell me, if I can use all
73 Keys of the XK3 to play my Pianomodule if I don't want to howl
around the XK-3 + the Yamaha P80.

How is the feeling to play Piano with this Keyboard (as "acceptable""
as with the electro ? - Just to practice) (I prefer Piano with my P80
when gigging).

The electro is a good compromise to get all sounds in one Keyboard.

But in addition I have a notebook + Tascam US122 + B4, The Grand
and Lounge Lizard for a good Rhodes Sound (and own a real Rhodes MKII)

So if I can play the 73 Keys on the XK-3 I probably would have all
Sounds of the Electro with the XK-3 + my Notebook.

Thanks for further helpful advises.

Best regards.

Toni
