Here's the deal with tonewheel spinets: They do not have the high end
that the consoles have - but they can be made to have it!

The tonewheels are there for the highest drawbar pitches in the high
octaves, but the key contacts to wire them are not. It was a cost
saving move not to include them, but the 9 buss bars are still there,
along with the slots for the missing key contacts. You can get a kit
(usually called a foldback kit) to restore those missing frequencies.
It is not rocket science, but it does require almost completely
disassembling the keyboards.
