You sound like a used car salesman! Chrome ashtray, adjustable seats, big trunk, clean ashtray, low miles, driven by a little old lady to the library and back, sorry couldn't resist!

Hey Curt:
The Hammond M-3 spinet is an EXCELLENT organ. Well worth seeking out.
It's got a lot of the features we look for:
Tonewheel sound generation
Two sets of drawbars
Two manuals of waterfall keys
Scanner chorus vibrato
4-rocker-switch percussion
Tube amp and tube pre-amp
Real Hammond "expression pedal"
But mainly, it's got that elusive, astounding TONE,
that comes within a hair of a console (B-3, etc.),
and it's half the weight.
It's long been called "the Baby B", for good reason.
$400 for a nice one certainly isn't "a steal",
but neither is it a rip-off.
Heck, it can cost that much just for a proper hook-up to a Leslie
(which, in turn, generally costs way more than the organ).
"They ain't makin these babies no more",
and Hammond fans new and old are still twigging to the superiority
of this model, even after all these years.
TIP: A small classified want ad is a cheap hunting licence for gear.
e.g. - " Wanted: Leslie organ speaker &/or Hammond organ"
You may be surprised what turns up. And you're in the driver's seat.
