Not to take anything away from the fine city of Montreal, but Larry's
an expat Scot who has been living in Toronto since the age of 7.
Scarborough, to be exact... he and I went to different high schools
together. ;-)

Tony, the "Gowan" album was good, and showed a bit of what he was
capable of as a songwriter... his sophomore effort, Strange Animal,
is a much more 'polished' effort, and was hugely successful here in
Canada when it was released in '85. I think your reference to Alex
Lifeson is for the Gowan album "Lost Brotherhood", though, from
1990... Alex played guitar on that disc, which was produced by Mike
Howlett, Eddie Schwartz (songwriter extraordinaire) and L.G. Alex
hasn't produced any of Larry's material to date...

Cheers,
Rob
