Subject:Roland VK-8M Expression Input

The VK-8M documentation I've seen is pretty vague on what function can
be controlled using the expression pedal input.

Since I'm a MIDI guitarist, I'd like to be able to control the leslie
effect speed with a foot pedal of some sort.

I suppose I can buy a device that sends controller 80 and merges it
with my MIDI signal, but was hoping not to have to buy more than
another CC pedal.

Anyone have hands-on experience or know whether this is a built-in
capability?
