Subject:MIDI pedal hiccups

I'm getting tired of "walking" the Expression pedal, an FC-7,
to "wake up" the next preset I'm going to between modules or linked
keyboards from a two-midi-out controller. The new preset comes in at
the wrong volume if I haven't "notched" the pedal up or down between
Expression gaps on the controller's range. I figure others may have
noticed this in their multi-keyboard/module setups. Is there a way
around this, or do I just have to live with it and get quicker
working the pedal - it's like a drag race >grin< ..not to mention
hung notes, but that's another category entirely. TIA ~ Walter
