Subject:Bulk Dump dummy
Hey, I read the term Bulk Dump at the back of all my keyboard and
module manuals, Midi Info, but.. duh? I have everything set up just
how I like to play it on one of my A-33 controllers, months of work
to tweak it into shape with my Electro organ and pianos and synth
modules. Now I want to "copy" its presets onto another A-33 for a
backup and don't have a clue. I read the same old, "When doing Bulk
Dump to a Sequencer press this 'n that, etc." What's a sequencer?..
would be a good place to start. I know keyboards that'll play back
midi files or record what you're playing are a kind of sequencer.
Band-in-a-Box is doing sequencer stuff when I set up basic chorus
tracks and play/record live onto the melody and soloist tracks; but I
don't think there's any function in that to apply to what I want to
do. I've downloaded Electro patches and OS upgrades along with my
Roland VK-8 = midi files with an SMF midi file utility provided by
Roland; been there, done that. Please tell me doing this A-33->A-33
Bulk Dump is easy, how to do it, and I don't need to buy anything?
