I've been using a Blue Tube in front of my Speakeasy for several
gigs now and like it. I use an Electro, which runs into a Lexicon
Alex. Before the Blue Tube, I was running the Alex output all the
way up. Now, I can run it at 12 o'clock, and then into the Blue
Tube. I am only using the Blue Tube for gain- I leave the drive
setting at zero and run the gain at about noon or maybe a little
higher, just to send a hotter signal to the SE. I run the Speakeasy
pretty hot as well, then into my Leslie. Doing it this way allows me
to run my Leslie at about half way up, so it's much quieter yet
still puts out some volume. It also gives me some headroom if I need
it.
