Subject:Soundside Tweaks to Roland VK8m

I have been watching the posts regarding the Soundside upgrade to the Roland
VK8m. I have posted many times that I love the sound of the Roland VK8. When I
tried the VK8m I could not believe that they would not offer a way to bypass
the leslie sim...... to me the chorus vib (C3) on the VK8 is my favorite among
clones - and that includes even the new Hammond Suzuki B3 .

So apparently the
leslie sim can be bypassed with this Soundside upgrade , is that correct? I would
love to hear it. Are there any mp3 clips of this upgrade out there?

I would be willing to bet that the
overdrive effect on this mod would be nice too. I have really come to know and
appreciate the overdrive capabilities on my VK7. I always think that a little
overdrive is crucial to getting a clone to sound authentic. When I add overdrive
to the chorus vibrato on my VK7 it certainly helps it to sound more
authentic.

I have always thought that with a little
tweaking that the VK8 could be a very satisfying clone...... my only problem is
that I have had very little access to hearing them in the Portland Oregon
vicinity. Certainly there are no VK8m's around with Soundside mods. I have also
not heard the new version of the Voce V5 , The new version of Electro etc. etc.
Please let me know if there are any MP3 clips of these mods out there
