Leo,
The pedal is a Roland DP-2 @ $14.95 from American Musical Supply.
Just plug it in to # 1 jack on rear of CX-3.Should work without any programing.Speed switch on CX-3 will still work.
At that price I bought a spare.I also use same pedal on my Yamaha SO3 and Alesis ION.
