Subject:RE: Stereo vs. Mono
When our band runs our own sound from stage we run in mono. But we have a
sound guy that has a major rig and he always runs stereo. It sounds great
but you'd have to double on power amps etc. which spells lots of money...

I run stereo when playing live because it makes a difference for *me*.

Obviously when recording, running a stereo signal from your rig is crucial.
But do most list members run stereo in live performance or mono and do you
feel running live in stereo is really noticeable enough to the audience to
justify the extra wiring, speaker setup, etc? This particularly becomes an
issue when you have multiple modules, pedals, etc. which have stereo
outputs. (i.e. a royal pain in the a**!!)
