Subject:Re: Stereo vs. Mono
I'm finished the withdrawal stage after a few weeks of cutting down
from stereo to mono for my piano and synth sounds. They sound fine in
mono, no difference to the audience. I'm running organ sounds through
a Pro-145, so the "moving air" effect takes care of that for me,
onstage. But I think a good mono rotary sim, like the CX3 and Electro
sound fine to an audience, no difference. The players onstage get the
best 'psychoacoustic' effect from a leslie moving air - the audience
hears it in mono - if you're set up to be heard in the mix ;^) Wj
