Subject:Re: Connecting a CX3 to Leslie 860???
CX3->Speakeasy->860. Make sure you get a Speakeasy made for you
that has Stop as well as chorale/tremelo switch. The 860 has
the break function which sounds great for those Booker T moments etc.
The 860 is very loud, brighter than a valve Leslie but it'll sound
warm with the Speakeasy in front. Also, make sure you get the Barker
mod. put on the Speakeasy (or a seperate pre amp) as the CX3 output
is too low to push the Classic Speakeasy hard on it's own. Speak to
Steve Hayes and tell jim what you got and he'll know what to do...
Have fun with the 860, it's a great little gigging Leslie.
