I use a cheap soundblaster live card and third party drivers from
www.kxproject.com. With the factory Live drivers I could only get
around 40ms latency. The ASIO drivers from KXproject run at 5.33ms!
Im running B4 thru Stienbergs VSTack host program. I can run reverb,
delay and basically any effects i want without adding any latency.
If I add alot of cpu heavy effects (or other instruments) I get some
pops and click or distorted audio, just adding 2 or 3 effects doesnt
present any problems ( im also running Stienbergs The Grand and
Lounge Lizards both are real cpu hogs but they all run at 5.33ms)

my system:
PIII 1gig
512 MB
SoundBlaster Live

If your PC is fast enough for B4 and Audio mulch an ASIO compliant
sound card would greatly improve your latency.
