Subject:B4 + what effects? survey question

Hi All,
I know this is ultimately a matter of personal taste, but
I'd like to canvass group opinions on what effects people
add when using the B4; I'm particularly interested in
VST/DirectX but even hardware/generic answers will be useful
to me.

I guess no-one uses distortion/overdrive, but
probably some use reverb? or delay? and what about specific
EQ settings? Does anyone use compression? These are the ones
which immediately come to mind. I like playing two handed
(on a single keyboard) and find the bass part kind of muddying/
swamping the mid-range, with only the high end cutting though.
This, I'm sure, can be solved by EQing down the low freqs and
adding a touch of compression, but it just got me to thinking
what you guys out there are using.

[to repeat, I fully understand that this is a matter of style of
music/tune, etc etc; I'm looking for constructive replies as opposed
to well-meaning but informationally empty 'depends on how you want
it to sound' answers.]
