Yes I did. About 5 years ago. It was a power supply problem and I had to
take it in.

Subject: [CWSG] Dead VK-7?

Any VK-7 owners ever have their clone refuse to power up?

As I set mine up for church band rehearsal tonight, I noticed that
screen didn't display the Roland logo, altho it did light up somewhat. I
unplugged it and tried a different cord. At first the logo came up -
then the whole screen went blank.

Dead.

No smell of ozone tho, so hopefully it didn't fry anything. Perhaps a
short to the power supply?

Time to visit the repair shop *sigh*
