Subject:Re: Smaller keyboard stand solution

VERY NICE!

I did something akin to this EONS ago...my rig at that
time was a Yamaha CP30, Arp Pro Soloist and Roland
RS09 with an Ibanez stompbox Parametric EQ (I'd use
the "Q" knob to simulate filter sweeps...necessity,
the mother of invention!). Anyway, the CP30's lid
would open into 2 pieces and become its stand. I
fastened the lids together permanently, then cut the
keyboard section out and made them removable with
latches (and replaceable for moving obviously). I
then built a frame the inverse of yours, that let the
Prosoloist sit on top of the CP30, and then this
housing went over that, and tilted the RS09 at an
angle. It put all 3 keyboards nice and tight
together, and gave me room for my chorus ensemble and
parametric eq boxes. It looked cool too!
