Subject:Re: Smaller keyboard stand solution
This stand is very cool, but adding the second tier
(which I have done) if you're using it in jobbing
circumstances takes a bit of the lustre off. First,
there is a support bar that attaches with four
good-sized bolts with palm heads (nice!). However,
its very tedious trying to thread those on a dark
stage, and they're all dark, aren't they?! Then,
there are 2 arms that also attach with 4 of the same
type of bolts that slide along the length of that arm.
You can set them once, but then transport and storage
of the arm with the Tstand gets clunky...not to
mention storing the 8 bolts. I used a Crown Royal bag
for the bolts (You do not want to break the plastic
heads off those bolts or you will be REALLY sorry) and
then bungeed the t to the bar after moving the arms.
Not the best stand for travelling if you're using a
two tiered set-up. I actually managed to turn it into
a 3 tier stand, but that is a nightmare and only works
if one of hte keyboards (the middle) is a DX7.
